Ingredients:

  • 500 grams apples
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar
  • 190 grams flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 milliliters mineral water

Directions:

  • Peel the apples and dice them into little cubes.
  • Add the vanilla sugar, cinnamon and regular sugar in a bowl.

Hint: If you can’t get ahold of vanilla sugar, you can also mix 3 teaspoons of regular sugar with half a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

  • Mix apples into the bowl. Next let the mixture through a sieve to remove excess fluids from the apples. Let it sit.
  • Separate the egg white from the egg yolk. Whip the egg white to cream.

Hint: Cream is whipped when you can flip over the bowl without spilling anything.

  • Place egg yolk, flour, mineral water and a pinch of salt in a bowl and mix everything.
  • Gently fold cream and apples into the bowl.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry your pancakes.

Hint: The pancakes are very oily, so it is best to place a strip of kitchen paper between the layers of the stack.
