Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 420 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 360 grams flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 300 milliliters milk
  • 10 tablespoons butter

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 300°F.
  • Place eggs in a bowl. Use a hand mixer to fluff the eggs. Slowly add the sugar between mixing.
  • Add the vanilla extract and baking powder. Mix in the flour slowly.
  • In a sauce pan heat the milk with the butter (Careful not to burn the milk).

Hint: Use a sauce pan to make pouring the content easier later.

  • Pour the milk into the bowl with the other ingredients. Mix everything well and then put in the desired baking pan.
  • Let bake for 20-35 minutes.

Hint: Make sure to check on the cake every 10 minutes. The middle of the cake takes the longest to cook.

Tipp: Cake tastes best warm with some berries on the side.
